Belgica I have a question about how I can get an agent. My city lacks an agency and there's a specific tv show I want to go for. I'm stressing about how I can get one because I'm only 17 and I'm not sure if my parents would let me try out. Is it a good idea to maybe ask my acting school to get me hooked up with one virtually?

Updates on the projects I mentioned in the vlog as of 08/14/24 The NDA short film, I booked!!! But unfortunately, they had to use someone else as I was already booked on the filming date. I want to become an actress, but I'm still in school and I told my parents I want to have a career in Hollywood, although I would need to fly there from where I am. My parents will support me in everything I do but they have been saying that California is bad, but I know this. I have wanted to be an actress for years now and I want to be an actress for one, because it makes me happy, and two, it's one of my most passionate things I have in my life, and I want to move to California to spread the Gospel of Jesus there while doing something I love. Jesus is pushing my heart to become an actress and I don't really bring up acting, unless it's theater for school or some acting classes around my parents. Or my mom at the most. My father just asks me a few questions and nods while my mom has something negative to say. I wanted to be an author before acting and now I've really changed. But, I already have a plan to wait until I have enough money for college.

I use backstage app on my phone is it the same as on the web. I see that you have different opinions than the app.

whenever i act ( i never do unless like i really gotta do it or im joking ) I always think about not trying to give off that emotion and instead *being* that emotion with authenticity, leave trying to be to the side and put being to the front

With a MFA in Film/Content Creation/Theatre you could also teach acting (you would be GREAT at this) as a junior college professor.

If you got a MFA in Film/Content Creation/Theatre at CSU Los Angeles, then you could get a career as a junior college professor teaching content creation because you’ve got years of content creation experience with your RUclips site.
